A love to last a lifetime…
We still are nostalgic about Rachel & Patrick’s dreamy summer wedding! They said “yes” at the picturesque Blue Hill Farm B&B in Waterford, VA. They had a unique vision that was a true joy to make a reality. Scroll down to see all the details!
It’s the little things…
In the pictures you’ll see that there is golden hops mixed in with the white blooms and lush greenery. This was a BIG part of Rachel & Patrick’s vision! Their wedding had to include hops and we were happy to take on this request. The challenge with the hops centered around availability and locale. We sourced the hops from a grower in Oregon but the vine harvest occurs late August/early September. So we had it sent to us in September 2018 , then we dried and stored it for almost a year so that it would be perfect on wedding day!

There is something so special about having your best friends by your side on your big day! We loved that Rachel decided to go with an all-white scheme for her bridesmaids. The effect is so clean and lovely.
The bride was radiant…
Rachel was truly stunning on her big day! In her bouquet you can see we also included another fun element: wild Virginia blackberries! We loved combining the hops and blackberries with fragrant magnolias and delicate gardenias to create this very special bouquet!

The Blue Hill Farm B&B was the perfect setting for Rachel & Patrick on their sunny wedding day!
They said “I do”
Rachel & Patrick exchanged vows under this rustic arch, that looked heavenly draped in the mix of hops, magnolias, gardenias and greenery!
It’s official!
Rachel & Patrick’s beaming faces as they walk together as husband and wife for the first time is perfection!
No measure of time with you will be long enough. But let’s start with forever…

We adored working with Rachel & Patrick and seeing their vision come to life. Their reception included all of the fun details they wanted: hops, blackberries, magnolias and gardenias; along with elements like mixed metals, Tuscan inspired compotes and geometric designs! We always strive to create inspire and evoke emotion that will make our couples days one to remember. For us it is truly a labor of love!
